California-market cage-free large white loose gained 23 cents (+24.2%) to 118 cents a dozen, and cage-free brown loose advanced 6 to 10 cents across sizes nationally, per USDA. APHIS reports no confirmed HPAI egg-layer detections in the past 60 days, a quiet supply picture that anchors the conventional benchmark through shoulder season.
