Cage-free large white loose fell to 28.0 cents a dozen this week, down from 55.0, per USDA. The 27-cent drop compressed the cage-free premium to 4.9 cents a dozen (21%) over the conventional large white benchmark, which USDA places at 23.1 cents a dozen. APHIS reports no HPAI egg-layer detections in the past 60 days, leaving the supply picture quiet on the disease side.
